Saint Joseph’s College Magazine engages the College community through authentic storytelling to increase visibility of people and programs, convey a sense of place, and cultivate institutional pride in the spirit of Mercy.
The magazine is produced by the Office of Communications at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine on the shore of Sebago Lake in Standish.
Magazine Format and Access
Saint Joseph’s College Magazine launched its multimedia digital site in 2019 as a place to share media rich stories about the Saint Joseph’s College community including alumni, faculty, and students.
All magazine issues can be accessed online through the Archives.
Truly multimedia issues of the magazine begin with the Spring 2018 issue.
Magazine issues prior to Spring 2018 and dating back to 2005, can be viewed through a .pdf reader, also at the Archives.
Magazine Editorial Board
The Editorial Board represents a broad array of college community stakeholders and oversees implementation of the Magazine’s policies and guidelines. Members meet twice a year to discuss:
- What themes would we like to pursue?
- What are the stories we could be telling?
- Who are the inspirational members of our community to profile?
- What are the programs whose strength or evolution we wish to showcase?
